Objective

Al-Futtaim Group was using various scattered systems for Accounting Management, Project Management, Vendors and CRM. With dual source of entry in SAP ERP and PMWeb, data duplicity and mismatch was a major issue.

Key challenges

  1. 01Projects were managed in PMWeb; invoices processed in SAP ERP; credit checks done in a 3rd party SaaS system.
  2. 02Payments related to milestones were manually captured from PMWeb and then updated in SAP ERP for payments.
  3. 03After payments, data was manually updated again in PMWeb with the latest milestone status.
  4. 04Multiple systems led to data duplicity, mismatches and significant manual effort.
